 Established in 1975, Bar S Animal Clinic has been a trusted part of the Wickenburg community for decades. As a dedicated mixed animal practice, we’re proud to have served Wickenburg and the surrounding areas for over 35 years. Our team is passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive care for both large and small animals, combining time-honored experience with modern veterinary medicine.

 Rabies Requirement
All patients must be current on their rabies vaccinations (canine and feline) to ensure the safety of both your pet and our staff.

Appointment Timing

• Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule appointments.
• Short-notice cancellations (less than 24 hour notice) may be subject to our No-Call/No-Show Policy (see below).
• Late arrivals (15+ minutes past appointment time) may need to reschedule or wait longer.
• Early arrivals (15+ minutes early) may be required to wait until their scheduled time.
   

Walk-In Appointments

• A walk-in fee will be applied to any unscheduled appointments we are able to accommodate.
• If we cannot fit you in, we will help you reschedule or refer you appropriately.
   

Payment Policy

• Payment is due in full at the time of service. If you req
• We accept Cash, Checks, Credit/Debit and Care Credit, and offer cash/check discounts (the total on your invoice/estimate is the total with the cash/check discount).
• Credit and debit card transactions will include a 3% processing fee.
   

Client Conduct
We have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful or inappropriate behavior toward our staff, doctors, or clinic policies.

• Disruptive behavior may result in a behavior warning or termination of care.

New Client Policy

• We are NOT currently accepting new clients.
• When we reopen to new clients, a deposit equal to the office call and exam fee will be required to schedule the first visit. That balance will be applied to your first bill.
• 24-hour notice is required to cancel for a deposit refund.
   

Lapsed Clients
If you have not brought a pet in within three years, your client status will be considered inactive and you will be considered a new client.

Urgent & Emergency Care

• Available only for active clients whose pet have been examined within the past year.
   

No-Call / No-Show Policy
Appointments missed, canceled, or rescheduled without at least 24 hours’ notice will receive a strike against the client’s account.

Repeat offenders will be required to place a deposit equal to an office call and exam, that will be applied to their next visit. 3 no-call/No-show/ Short notice cancellations will result in termination of veterinary client patient relationship.
