Dr. Rick Regusa
After working at Bar S Animal Clinic for several years, Dr. Rick Regusa purchased the practice from Dr. Jim Lytle in 2000 and has been dedicated to caring for your four-legged family members ever since. Dr. Rick earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University and has been practicing veterinary medicine for more than 30 years.
With decades of experience in both small and large animal medicine, Dr. Rick remains committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to the animals and families of our community.
When he's not at the clinic, Dr. Rick enjoys spending time with his dogs, traveling, and making memories with friends and family.
Dr. Barry Littell
Dr. Barry Littell
During our busy winter and spring seasons, Dr. Barry Littell takes time away from his practice in Nebraska to join our team. A graduate of Kansas State University, Dr. Littell has been practicing veterinary medicine for more than 30 years and brings extensive experience in both large and small animal medicine.
While at Bar S Animal Clinic, Dr. Barry provides valuable expertise in surgery, acupuncture, and chiropractic care, making him a tremendous asset to our team and our patients.
When he's not working, Dr. Littell enjoys spending time with his family, roping, and caring for his own pets.
Dr. Deb Littell
Known affectionately as Dr. Barry's "better half," Dr. Deb Littell can often be found helping around the clinic during our busy seasons. With many years of veterinary experience, she is a wonderful addition to our team whenever she visits, and we always appreciate her support, knowledge, and willingness to lend a hand.
Ashleigh Anderson CVT
Ashleigh Anderson, CVT, FFCP
Certified Veterinary Technician & Laser Therapy Technician
Ashleigh graduated from Kaplan College in 2010 with an Associate of Occupational Sciences in Veterinary Technology. She began her career in small animal general practice, where she developed extensive experience in surgery, anesthesia, nutrition, emergency care, dentistry, and behavior.
She joined Bar S Animal Clinic in September 2019 and quickly became an integral part of the team. Ashleigh is a Certified Veterinary Technician, a Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP), and a member of the AAVSB Veterinary Care Elite. She is committed to lifelong learning and regularly participates in continuing education across a wide range of veterinary disciplines.
Outside of the clinic, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her two boys and their animal family. In her free time, she loves reading, drawing, coloring, dog training, exploring new places, and creating lasting memories with friends and family.
Dorinda Morris - Vet Tech
Dorinda has been a valued member of our team for several years. If you've scheduled an equine or large animal outcall, chances are you've met her alongside the doctor during your visit. Dorinda has received extensive on-the-job training and is highly skilled at what she does, making her an integral part of our team.
When she's not at the clinic, Dorinda enjoys spending time with her family, as well as caring for and spending time with her horses and dogs.
McKenna Clark- Reception and Vet Assistant
McKenna originally joined our team as a veterinary assistant working alongside our Certified Veterinary Technician and has since been cross-trained and transitioned to our front office team. She has received extensive on-the-job training and is always eager to expand her knowledge and learn new skills. A lifelong Arizona resident, McKenna enjoys spending her free time with family, friends, and her two dogs.
Trista Morris Receptionist
Trista is the warm, welcoming presence at the front desk of the clinic, making sure every client and patient feels right at home; even over the phone. A true animal lover at heart, she never misses a chance to say hello to the furry visitors! As a receptionist with a friendly face and voice, she keeps things running smoothly by managing appointments, processing prescriptions, and keeping pet parents in the loop. Trista is all about efficiency, clear communication, and creating a positive, organized flow throughout the clinic.
When she’s not holding down the front desk, you’ll probably find her out riding her horses or cruising the backroads behind the wheel of her pickup—never one to sit still for long!
Jude Acedo- Kennel Tech
If your pets frequent our boarding kennel, chances are you’ve met our kennel technician, Jude. She’s been an animal lover for as long as she can remember. Jude began her career bathing and brushing dogs at a grooming shop, where she later learned how to fully groom as well.
An Arizona resident for over 40 years, Jude brings more than seven years of experience working as a kennel tech at various facilities. When she’s not at the clinic spoiling your pets, Jude enjoys spending time with her friends and family—and with her big, goofy German Shepherd, Ringo.
Lauri Taylor Kennel Tech
Laurie is our longest resident kennel tech. When shes not here providing your boarding pets with exceptional care she enjoys going to yard sales, going camping and spending time with her family and pets.
