Each member—from our experienced veterinarians to our caring support staff—is dedicated to providing knowledgeable, compassionate care to every animal we see. With a shared love for animals and commitment to the community, we work together to ensure you and your pets feel supported every step of the way.
Dr. Rick Regusa
After working for Bar S for several years Dr. Regusa purchased and took over Bar S Animal Clinic from Dr. Jim Lytle in 2000 and has been committed to the health of your family members ever since. Dr. Rick graduated from Kansas State University with his doctorate of veterinary medicine and has been in practice for 30+ years.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his dogs, traveling, and time with friends and family.
Dr. Barry Littell
Dr. Barry Littell
During our busy winter and spring months, Dr. Littell takes time away from his practice in Nebraska to join our team for the season. A graduate of Kansas State University, he has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years, with experience in both large and small animals. While he’s with us, Dr. Barry brings valuable expertise in surgery, acupuncture, and chiropractic care.
When he’s not working, Dr. Littell enjoys spending time with his family, roping, and enjoying time with his pets.
Dr. Deb Littell
Dr. Barry’s “better half,” Dr. Deb Littell, can be seen helping out around the clinic during the busy season. With many years of experience, she’s a wonderful addition to our team whenever she’s here, and we’re always happy to have her support.
Ashleigh Anderson CVT
Ashleigh, CVT, FFCP
Certified Veterinary Technician & Laser Therapy Technician
Ashleigh graduated from Kaplan College in 2010 with an Associate of Occupational Sciences in Veterinary Technology. She began her career in small animal general practice, where she developed strong skills in surgery, anesthesia, nutrition, emergency care, dentistry, and behavior.
She joined Bar S Animal Clinic in September 2019 and quickly became an integral member of the team. Ashleigh is a Certified Veterinary Technician, a Fear Free Certified Professional, and a member of the AAVSB Veterinary Care Elite. As the clinic’s Laser Therapy Technician, she is committed to ongoing growth and regularly completes continuing education across a wide range of veterinary topics.
Outside of the clinic, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her two boys and their animal family. In her free time, she loves reading, drawing, coloring, dog training, exploring new places, and making lasting memories with friends and family.
Dorinda Morris - Vet Tech
Dorinda has been a member of the team for several years now. If you have us come out for an outcall its likely youll see her with the doctor during the visit. Dorinda is on the job trained, and is great at what she does.
When not at the clinic she enjoys time with her family, her horses and dogs.
McKenna Clark- Veterinary Technician Assistant
McKenna joined our team a little over a year ago to be an assistant for our CVT. She has been on the job trained and is always looking to expand her knowledge and learn new things. She has been an Arizona resident her whole life and when shes not working; she enjoys time with her family, friends, and her 2 dogs.
Brittany Gavegan Receptionist
Brittany is one of our lovely ladies youll see at the front desk. When you call its likely she will be one of the first people you speak to. From making appointments, to filling prescriptions, you can count on her to get you taken care of.
When Brittany isnt at the clinic she enjoys photography, rodeos, spending time with her dogs and having a good time with her friends and family.
Trista Morris Receptionist
Trista is the warm, welcoming presence at the front desk of the clinic, making sure every client and patient feels right at home; even over the phone. A true animal lover at heart, she never misses a chance to say hello to the furry visitors! As a receptionist with a friendly face and voice, she keeps things running smoothly by managing appointments, processing prescriptions, and keeping pet parents in the loop. Trista is all about efficiency, clear communication, and creating a positive, organized flow throughout the clinic.
When she’s not holding down the front desk, you’ll probably find her out riding her horses or cruising the backroads behind the wheel of her pickup—never one to sit still for long!
Jude Acedo- Kennel Tech
If your pets frequent our boarding kennel, chances are you’ve met our kennel technician, Jude. She’s been an animal lover for as long as she can remember. Jude began her career bathing and brushing dogs at a grooming shop, where she later learned how to fully groom as well.
An Arizona resident for over 40 years, Jude brings more than seven years of experience working as a kennel tech at various facilities. When she’s not at the clinic spoiling your pets, Jude enjoys spending time with her friends and family—and with her big, goofy German Shepherd, Ringo.
Lauri Taylor Kennel Tech
Laurie is our longest resident kennel tech. When shes not here providing your boarding pets with exceptional care she enjoys going to yard sales, going camping and spending time with her family and pets.
